Another day, another release? Hopefully this doesn’t become a trend. Version 1.0.9 has been released to fix the bug with USB drives not showing up. If you’re using the channel, you must be sure to have the latest channel (1.4) installed for this to work.

I’m not guaranteeing this works for everyone. If you have problems, discuss them on the forum or go back to an older version. This will be the last update for awhile.

Version 1.0.8 has been released along with an updated WiiMC Channel as a quick fix for those experiencing issues loading WiiMC from the channel. It also fixes the freeze-on-home-button issue some were having. Full changelog:

Version 1.0.7 has been released along with an updated WiiMC Channel (no longer uses IOS202 and no longer requires a trucha-bugged IOS for installation), and brings with it many changes and improvements. Most notably, IOS202 support has been removed in favor of IOS58, YouTube support was added (this release will overwrite your onlinemedia.xml, just like 1.0.6 did), and playback of MKVs has been fixed. Version 1.0.6 has been released to (hopefully) resolve some of the issues people were having with 1.0.5. This release reverts the USB 2.0 change that allowed both ports to be used. Full changelog:

If you’re updating, be sure to go into Settings > Videos and change “Frame Dropping” to “Disabled” to improve video performance. If you have audio sync issues, try changing Frame Dropping to Auto.
