    Hi everyone,
I have a question as to why wiimc will not play a entire VOB video file. Most of these that I try to watch will only show an about 30 min to an hour depending on the video. On the time bar it only shows the 30 mins of the video, when it reaches the end it just ends and closes. Some of these are large, about 5GB or so. I’m not sure if that has something to do with it or not. If I convert these to a different format then they will play in the entirety, but I don’t won’t to do this because of loss of video quality and some sound issues that I have been having. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

    Thanks.

I also have that same problem with watching iso’s. If they are 3gig or under they will play all the way, over 3gig will not. This also happens in mplayer ce. I have tried lots of different things but have no idea how to correct.

    Hi everyone,
I had similar behaviors running mplayer on a PC with the command line:

    mplayer “dvdfile.iso”

The right way to call mplayer on .ISO files seems to be:

    mplayer “dvd://1/dvdfile.iso”

With the “dvd://1/” prefix the total time is shown correctly and everything play fine. I tried to patch the filename in the wiimc code but I didn’t succeeded. Probably Tantric could help us 😉

PS. I have a wii with the new D3-2 drive, so .ISO files are the only way to see DVD with wiimc !
