I keep some .m3u playlist files in a folder on my SD card which I play through the Music section of WiiMC. Up until 1.0.7 they were showing up and working fine. Now, they do not appear at all. Could this be a bug or some sort of change in the new version?
Thanks.
August 16, 2010 at 3:38 am #26765rodriesKeymasterA change. m3u files are now hidden in the Music area.

Righto. So is there any way to play m3u’s other than pointing to them in onlinemedia.xml? Is there some other playlist format that will work?

This is a shame. Was there any particular reason why m3u files are filtered out?
This was my newly found way of listening to my fave UK web radio.. so I’m kinda disappointed 🙁
Any chance you could flip back to showing m3u files in the next version? 🙂

Thanks

this is my first post on the forum, so, first things first: Kudos on the SW – amazing stuff for how smoothly it works and integrates with basically ANYTHING connected to a network!!
Now, the reason why I am here actually: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE (pretty please!) put back support for playlists – who cares if some people put absolute paths and cant find the files?? Most of us users use it to significantly improve performance – even for online content! Soooo much easier having to deal with a m3u than having to create online content to access a simple online radio….
What do we have to do to get you to un-hide the files from at least music content??
That said, a huge THANK YOU for this wonderful SW – I actually use WiiMC MORE than I play games on the Wii…..
Have a good one!!
