Okay, here’s the oddest thing:
My SMB shares work wonderfully when I start WiiMC from the HBC, but whenever I launch the app with the official WiiMC Channel installed with the Channel Installer (downloaded from Homebrew Browser) I can’t connect to my shares.
Can anyone explain this? I’m almost certain this is some kind of stupid error on my side, but I couldn’t figure it out so far.
Google didn’t help either. Am I the only one having this problem?

Edit: Being stupid and all I forgot to mention, I’m using:
WiiMC 1.1.6
WiiMC Channel 1.8
HBC 1.0.8 on IOS58
got IOS202 installed
Wii System Menu 4.1E
