1.1.5 No subtitles at all

    Hello

    I upgraded with automatic upgrade process from 1.1.4 to 1.1.5 and “kabooom” the subtitles are no longer visible ( YES I HAVE THE VISIBILITY SETTING “ON” )

    The subtitles work perfectly in MCplayer so I have no idea what is wrong…

    Any help or suggestion will be most welcomed

    Subs are working fine in 1.1.5
    Make sure you have subfont.ttf in your wiimc directory

    Thank You , at least something to look for 😉

    Unfortunately ( 😉 ) the font is there … so I’m in the “dark hole again”

    My plan is:

    1) completely remove Wiimc form sd , and reinstall older version
    2) check out playback from sd and usb ( normally i use only smb and ftp) – how stupid of me i have not checked it before
    3) if it doesn’t work, i’ll downgrade further , and see if subtitles work with even older versions

    still any other suggestions will be most welcomed

    but now back to work :-/

    Deleting files from sd/apps/wiimc folder
    +
    reinstalling 1.4 and on-line upgrading to 1.5
    =
    subtitles are back

    the drawback is that all my ftp and smb settings are gone…

    still – I’m happy the best player for wii works again for me…

    rastatatam, i had same problem. no subtitles over ftp. (i’m almost certain they worked from hdd, not 100 percent sure). i tried a clean setup but didn’t fix problem. i’m going to try your fix.

    channel 1.8 and 1.1.5 wiimc. wii upgraded via Pimp My Wii 2.20. Priiloader 0.7 BETA 1

    didn’t work. no ftp subs on 1.1.5
