Hi
I have succesfully managed to access my PC’s music files using the SMB share option in WiiMC. My problem however is that I keep having to re-input all my details within WiiMC every time I start it up as I do not seem to be able to get the program to save my settings. After inputting the name of the shared folder and my IP address as I try to go back to the first screen I get the error message “could not save settings to USB1:/apps/wiimc/settings.xml”. Until I received this message I wasn’t even aware that the program was attempting to use the USB HD for anything other then playing my movie files. After checking though I can see that the program does appear to have created an app folder with a WiiMC folder within it. I know I didn’t do this as I run all my apps from my SD card. I have 2 questions:
1. Does anyone know why I am unable to save my settings?
2. Or if not if there is any way for WiiMC to save the settings to my SD card instead of the USB HD?

Edit: Well this problem has obviously stumped everyone as I can see there have been quite a few views but no suggestions. I have managed to solve my problem by deleting the apps folder from the USB HD and done a fresh install of the newest release from my SD card. The new release now saves my SMB settings. Only odd thing is now that wiimc displays my SD card 4 times on the first page. This is only a problem as it offends my OCD.
