Hi,
I have searched the forum for help, and although I can find related topics, none seem to fix the issue for me. I don’t have Wifi connected to my Wii and I do have HBC 1.0.8 / non-patched IOS58, so with the
line in the XML file, I seem to get frequent Code Dumps with SNES GX / VBA GX that I believe are related to it. So when I remove that line from the WiiMC installer’s meta.xml, I get the line about not having Nand permissions. And my IOS36 and other IOS’s have Nand permissions. When I have the line in there, I can get past that point, but then I get a Code Dump very soon after. And btw, the installer shows IOS 58 on the bottom left. My IOS58 is unpatched because otherwise it turns my HBC upside-down, and when I tried patching it with Nand permissions (and dealt with the HBC being upside down temporarily), the Installer decided to use IOS61 which is also unpatched! So I am not getting anywhere with it – unless someone has another suggestion. I know the other suggestions are to reinstall HBC or IOS58, but neither have indicated problems with other apps except those that have the line in the meta when Wifi is off. Ideas?
Thanks.

You only need to do this once, of course. After the channel is installed just be sure to remove no_ios_reload from apps when loading from HBC.

Once I removed it, things “seem” to be better but I have only played around with it for a short time. The downside of course is not being able to use the WiiMC Installer without some hassle.
