Unable to initialize network Error#:-24

I have been using wiimc for awhile now and haven’t had any trouble. I recently changed isp’s and now have cable internet (roadrunner). I used to have verizon dsl which i was able to use fine.

So my problem here is that everytime I try to connect to wii mc through the ftp share I have set up I get “unable to initialize network error#:-24”

I am using Filezilla which is configured correctly but it just seems that the wii mc cannot connect to the ipv4 address I have set up. I get this ip from: cmd- ipconfig/all and the ip listed as ipv4.

I have the cable modem connected to a belkin router which has a 192.168 number set. My ip is also a 192.168 number.
I’m wondering if there is some confusion because of the new cable modem…? I don’t know, I really don’t know too much about this but was able to have it up and running for the previous months.

Can anyone try and help me with this?? Please… 😥

Is there anything I should know about having cable internet and a separate router? I would think it should work as long as I’m using the right ip… bleh

Ok nevermind, I was able to figure it out. My wireless on my wii was not configured correctly. Feel like an idiot but glad I figured it out and got it up and running again.

Bah… Sometimes you overlook the simplest of things. 😛 😆
