    Sorry to bring some bad news 🙁
    I was so happy that the audio sync bug was corrected that I immediately updated when I saw the message in WiiMC, but since upgrading to 1.1.0 WiiMC is stuck in the “Loading. Please wait” screen…
    I’ll try to install again from the SD card rather than upgrading directly to see if that solves my problem.

    Exactly… I forgot about the Channel updater… Sorry about that 🙁
    And now for the happy news: everything works great with this version, including the the audio which is perfectly in sync now.
    Thanks a lot for your work Tantric !!!

    I was upgraded my channel and installed the new wiimc (1.1.0). The Channel hangs at Loading with message “Exception (DSI) occurred!”

    October 8th, 2010 at 13:19 | #14

    If I enter the loader my Wii just reboots 😐 If I enter from Homebrew Channel, it works fine, but the video-playback got worse. Maybe the video source is the problem, will investigate later.

    When I try to install WiiMC Channel Installer 1.5 an error occurs “Please install IOS58, then reinstall Homebrew Channel, then try it again” but I have already all of them installed…previous version worked perfect on my Wii (1.09 and Installer 1.4). Any idea?

    Channel loads my USB drive fine now. I watched a DVD for a half hour, sounded great, no weird audio. Online media loads way faster!

    2 issues: One, all the files on my USB drive show up in lower cased lettering. Also, not sure if this has to do with subs being turned on, but when I selected an item from the DVD menu, the movie continued to play with a white line on the screen. As soon as I disabled subs, it went away.

    Great work again everyone.

    Works great, the audio is all in sync now, except there is one problem. My subtitles don’t show up anymore. They used to show up in the last version, but don’t show up anymore.

    Hi Guys!

    Realy great job!!!!
    Unfortunately I cannot get my NAS connected. Is it the backslash which I cannot choose in adding the paths?

    Please can anybody help me with this – now I am using an USB HDD – which is a pitty with such a fine NAS. I also cannot connect to the shared files on my pc. On my PC i can connect and get the map structure of the NAS – so I don’t know what is going wrong…

    I updated Homebrew and updated WiiMC and the channel. Now the issue us that WiiMC won’t recognize my USB and crashes when I select various menus/settings. What am I doing wrong? Should I switch back to IOS249 after the channel is updated?

    ok so ive tried the download from the homebrew browser. that works, but i can only run wiimc from the homebrew channel. i tried the update from in the program=fail. i try the update from the channel=fail. i download the channel update=fail <- channel installer tells me i need ios58 installed and homebrew reinstalled, and i have already done that and the installer still demands i install 58.

    It’s great but it has a few bug: titles appear in all lower case letters. It has trouble loading my NTFS harddrive and the video play back is choppy the frames get meat up.

    I have the same issue, too. WiiMC Vers. 1.1.0 is running without any problem when started directly. But the channel update failed. I re-installed IOS 58 successfully, but the error message didn’t disappear.

    I have the same issue as angelele. I tried re-installing IOS58 – but the forwarder still does not update. When started without forwarder WiiMc itself is working perfectly.

    @91extcab
    Had the same problem, you have to install IOS58 and than reinstall HBC. When you install HBC it shows you that IOS58 is installed.

    Videoplayback in 1.0.8 is choppy for me. I watched a movie yesterday and in the upper left corner there is some weird clipping. It’s 100% not the videos fault, will try to take a picture.

  38. Skryten
    October 9th, 2010 at 03:33 | #38

    thx. How do you reinstall homebrew channel? I already have it…do I delete the HBC Channel and go through Bannerbomb again…?

  39. Skryten
    October 9th, 2010 at 04:05 | #39

    Problem fixed….a quick reinstallation of the HBC (now using IOS58) took care of this problem. New version is GREAT! Thx

  40. October 9th, 2010 at 06:00 | #40

    “Unable To Obtain NAND Access. Installer Cannot Continue”

    any reason why this keeps happening when i try to use the channel installer?

  41. angelele
    October 9th, 2010 at 06:14 | #41

    Problem solved, do as the popup sais to do…install (again) IOS58, re-install Homebrew (i. e.: hackmii installer)..and that’s it, works fine.

    I have the same issue reported here: http://www.wiimc.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=848 ()Resolution stretch on WiiMC interface)
    Mine is a CRT PAL 16:9 TV and switching from 50 to 60 Hz doesn’t help. Width in 1.0.9 was OK.

    @wishmasterf
    @BadWolf
    @ghoal (minus the exception error)
    @albert p.

    Having the same problem, unfortunately @angelele solution does not fix the issue for me, tried it several different ways, from simply reinstalling over the top, uninstalling then reinstalling to restarting after every step, nothing seems to work. Loading via HBC works fine, IOS58 is installed and HBC is using it, but the wiimc channel just hangs at “Loading please wait…”

    Great work…

    But, screen now looks…”expanded” and i miss left and right sides, like a few inches…. not viewing movies, just the whole program…

    Changed video settings to default, but no way.
