Just saw the update on the WII, updated smoothly… thanks for your hard work.
The WII is now to me more like a roku.. as much as I can use it 🙂

it doesn’t happen on ALL videos but 75% of the time it gives an error DUMP code, then it restarts after 8 seconds whenever I try to play a youtube video. I also use it daily but… would you be needing screenshots of this? Because the youtube is still not working properly for me after the update. I tried setting the buffer from 20% to 50% and tweeking with some other options, but I don’t get better results… it still crashes on most videos.
i am now downloading it i tried to download it from hbc but when it finished updating hbc deleted it from my usb. downloading 2 my pc then gonno put it on my wii with the 2.0 channel
Since this update almost all of my movies get an error with my HDD it says that it can’t find the path for the movie and it stops reading my HDD and i have to restart the wii for the WiiMC to detect my HDD again, i know it’s not my HDD because MplayerCE and previous versions of WiiMC don’t give me this problem, i love that youtube works again but i have to restart mi Wii 6 or 7 times just to watch a movie.
BTW i dont want you guys to think that i’m bitching, i love WiiMC and i thank so much the developers for this piece of software wich is so usefull but im having this problem and i would love to se some feedback to see if i’m the only one having problems with this
So I’ve been using wiimc for youtube a lot lately I noticed I’ll be watching a movie on youtube then all of a sudden it stops and goes back to the menu and forces me to start my movie all over again? what could be causing this?
Thanks for the hard work. This is a great tool for the wii that I still use almost daily. (mostly the music player) I’d love to see visualizations for the music player and/or some kind of graphic equalizer.
Looks and feels great! Except I keep having this problem with this one series. I load all my videos from USB and most of them work. I have no clue why these wouldn’t, they’re standard mkvs like most of my other videos. But when I try to load them it throws me a DSI. I can get you the stackdump and all that if it’ll help you fix this/tell me what’s wrong so I can.
Same here. Can’t watch any youtube vids on WiiMC, the /v and /embed tricks don’t work on the Wii anymore, forced to use the youtube channel again. Why do they keep screwing up youtube?

Im having issues with some videos at Youtube. They crash, and give me a black screen or dump code…. the first that appear in list are always the ones that i had issues. In version 1.3.1 I didnt have any issue.. I tried to reinstall that version but it said that Youtube file cannot be found.. or something like that. Ill appreciate your help and continue to improve this app:)

This update seems to have broken my ftp connecton… the video keeps buffering then freezes the wii.
1.3.2 works perfectly for me…
1.3.3 works great actually… the problem was with my setup…
I’ve been using this for a few months now as i don’t have those newer TVs with USB support
anyway I’ve recently noticed when i play 480p mkv files they lag
my laptop is still in repairs so I can’t get mp4 files

Youtube still doesn’t work. Gives error and reloads after 8 seconds.
I am having the same exact issue, any youtube video simply instantly gives the EXCEPTION (DSI) ERROR screen and reloads Wii after 8 seconds.

The thumbnails(pics on the right) still don’t show but YT is working again…..for now anyway.
