After 1.0.8, no previous releases will read my USB drive!

I just updated to 1.0.8 and found that the USB drive was gone, so I reverted back to 1.0.7, but still no drive. I’ve tried every release back to 1.0.4, but none of them will read my drive now. What has 1.0.8 done? How can I fix this?

are you running ios58 or ios202?

On the main screen of WiiMC click on the WiiMC logo. That will tell you the IOS its running on.

1.0.7 onwards uses ios58
all previous versions use ios202

uninstall ios202 with Any Title Deleter

be careful about what you delete, ios202 is in system titles 😉

Is it really necessary to remove IOS202?

I ask this question because :
– other homebrew use it
– I don’t see why it would interfer with IOS58

No, it’s not necessary.

Installing IOS58 fixed it. There was no need to uninstall IOS202. Thanks everyone!
