Getting a coredump with new version 1.1.2, and also with this beta-version
Up till 1.1.1 everything was ok.
    Sorry, I don’t have a screendump (yet) 😳

b.t.w. can you please change the update system ?
Like put a check for new updates in the configuration menu ?
Now, every time when someone has problems with a certain version, it is mandatory to skip
the “update now” or “update later” nag screen…

Furthermore, thanks for the great program and all the effort you put in this 😀

I have reports that all is working fine in this beta, be sure you have replaced the boot.dol
If you are sure I need the codedump to fix the bug

I’m sure i replaced the correct boot.dol and by the way; I’m using SMB via WiFi (did not try USB or other things)
When I start the boot.dol, after a while (when normally the video-files from my shared drive will pop up), the program crashes with a coredump, and I have to reboot the Wii.
Stupid question; how can I send you a coredump ? Take a picture of it ?

Yes, or transcribe the data on it. The only thing we really need is the section under “STACK DUMP”

Nothing under “Exception (DSI)” or “CODE DUMP” is really required.

Very well done, I really thank you. No more exception DSI for me.

This worked for me too. The problem was occurring when I selected USB Media in the menu.

    Thanks a lot! 😀

I registered to this site just to let you know that this is the best app for the Wii, and the developers response to this code dump and subtitle issues is excellent! Thank you for this app. Looking forward to the final version

    Okay here we are again…
I tried the latest version; no go. 😕
    This is the stack dump: 80663ba0 –> 80149fd8 –> 80631364 –> 80631314
I always start WiiMC in movies, and I have a lot (about 500, filesize 550GByte, 1254 files including .srt), can that perhaps cause my problems ?
When I immediately go somewhere else (music / pictures) I do nog get the stackdump…

    It’s a bug caching subs
do you have more than 300 subs in that folder?
    try this new beta: http://www.mediafire.com/?f4n3lz9129r537f

Are these fixes in the SVN’s? The beta’s don’t help if one also has patches to apply. Perhaps you can state the SVN’s that are included in each beta as yo post them. Someone else suggested adding the SVN number to the credits page of each beta, as I do with the enhancement pack patch (line 18 of wiimc.h), so these dols can be identified.
