Can’t play dvds

Ijust updated from 1.1.3 to 1.1.7 and I’m getting the following message everytime I click on the dvd icon –

error wiimc does not have dvd access – ahbprot is not enabled

I have HBC 1.0.8 with IOS36 v14.24 (whatever that means)

All other features are working fine, would really like to be able to play dvds so any help would be very appreciated.

Note the DVD section on the Documentation page. You need to be using IOS58.

I just installed IOS58-64-v6176.wad using wad manager however it still says I have IOS36 v14.24 and is still bringing up the same error message when I click on the dvd icon.

Never mind finally got it to work with IOS58 after re-installing wiimc

Does this HAVE to be IOS58 or will IOS61 also work?

I’m not the most expert here (so, I might be wrong) but as far as I know, it HAVE to be IOS58, my Wii has System Menu 4.2u so I couldn’t make it work until I’ve installed IOS58
