You are hitting a bug in hbc. Upgrade to the newest version and your problem will go away.

The most current Homebrew Channel is v1.10 and IOS:58 should be version v24.32 or close.
Also you have nand acess to every IOS possible.I don’t think i would do this.Unless you are emulating it.

It’s OK with HBC 1.1.0. Thank a lot.
But I can’t connect to my NAS

On each PC in my network, on explorer, i can go on : //192.168.1.30/media (without login/password)
But Wii don’t connecton it 🙁
    FTP doesn’t work too.
    (Youtube OK => wifi OK)

    It’s a ReadyNAS.
    Services up : SMB / UPnp / HTTP / FTP / ReadyDLNA
Service down : AFP, NFS, SNMP, Rsync

    Have you got idea ?

    Thanks.
    Best regard

I’ve never tried one of these. But we really need more info on your network enviroment. If its a UPNP device i don’t think wiimc will connect.
It looks like it has smb capability so it should connect if your syntax is right. What do your smb settings look like in wiimc…Share_Name,IP_Adress,ect
You could try to plug it into your PC and try to share it,then connect wiimc with smb function.

its possible your ios58 is corrupted although this is rare.
you could try reinstalling ios58 and see if it helps

I have never heard of an IOS being “corrupted”.

If it’s a modified IOS, you’ll get a warning when you start WiiMC.

    Hi,

    I have do some tests
filezilla server on my desktop configurated : Wii cannot connect by ftp. (no logs in filezilla server)
WiiMC : Ftp and SMB works over wifi ? I suppose (access youtube is ok).
But perhaps, SMB and FTP only work in RJ45 mode. (I haven’t try this…)

    Thanks.
    Regards.

I too am getting the same problem since the newest release. WiiMC will work a playlist and after the first song the DSI core dump appears and resets WiiMC. This was persistent as different songs were put on the playlist and played. Sometimes the crash would be random. Depending on how long the Wii sat before making another playlist to play from.

Playing single songs seem to work just fine, near as we can tell.

Songs are accessed over WiFi on a Windows 2008 Enterprise server Music Share.

We are in the USA. Wii V 4.3U
