Was happy to see that a new release was out, and after upgrading as usual I was sent back to the HBC screen.
That was the last I saw of WiiMC today ๐
It either freezes black screen, and the Wii needs a hard shutdown, or I get the following error message:
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
After 8 seconds it fires back to the HBC, and if I go right back and load it up, I will either get the same error message, or a total lock.
I proceeded to remove the entire folder from SD://apps, and replaced it with the latest full install .ZIP from this website. I also made sure there were no other config files lying around on the SD card.
…and it still does the same thing! I have literally changed nothing on my Wii except updating from 1.0.1 to 1.0.2 and its completely unusable. I have a 4.2u Wii, with HBC 1.0.6, CIOS 222 249 and 250 installed, and a USB hard drive attached (WBFS format), for USB Loader GX.
May 11, 2010 at 2:12 am #25718rodriesKeymasterHave you tried unplugging the WBFS drive?
May 11, 2010 at 2:31 am #25719abcdParticipantJust gave it a try, it did load up fine without the USB drive attached.
I hope you can find the problem, since without my USB hard drive, half of the things I do on my Wii are broken.
May 11, 2010 at 3:49 am #25720rodriesKeymasterYes, that issue’s already been fixed.

When can we get the update that fix the problem? ๐
May 11, 2010 at 3:41 pm #25721axgarrParticipantYou must compile WiiMC.
Anyway you must wait the new release.May 12, 2010 at 9:40 am #25722pippodrummerParticipantpista sono italiano
puoi spiegarmi bene? io quando apro il programma, se l’HDD partizionato WBFS รจ inserito non parte, se lo scollego, va perfettamente…xke?May 12, 2010 at 5:14 pm #25723axgarrParticipantIt= Solo Inglese qui per cortesia…
En= Only English here please….Please update your WiiMC to 1.0.3 โ
May 12, 2010 at 9:20 pm #25724whitetigerdkParticipantHello,
I have the same issue regarding the WBFS drive on USB port 1. I installed WiiMC 1.03 and still have this problem. Is there gonna be a fix for this?
Thanks in advance
May 13, 2010 at 1:17 am #25725abcdParticipantBack to report that 1.0.3 did not fix this, still reboots with a crash dump. If you want specific hex code I can take another picture, but having my WBFS formatted USB drive plugged in makes WiiMC unusuable.
–See above post and pic for reference
Again, not fixed in 1.0.3
May 13, 2010 at 2:24 am #25726rodriesKeymasterYes I need a new picture.
May 13, 2010 at 2:37 am #25727abcdParticipantMay 13, 2010 at 2:53 pm #25728pippodrummerParticipantI’ve the same picture on my tv..
May 14, 2010 at 12:09 am #25729rodriesKeymasterOk, I think I’ve fixed this for the next version.
June 4, 2010 at 3:56 am #25730abcdParticipantBack to report this is fixed in 1.0.4! I can once again load WiiMC w/o ahving to unplug my WBFS USB drive!
