DVD Ripper

How about a dvd ripper like ps3 just not blu-ray, or like the usb loaders just not games
and choose what file it goes into and under what name
im not picky about format and it doesn’t have to rip all of the data, just the main movie (and subtitle) to get rid of the junk and save some space
it would save time for those who arent able to stream from pc
by the way great media player 😀

Riiiight, well assuming you will not be re-encoding the video you are ripping you will be looking at extremely large files for just a movie. Now if you were thinking to encode it to divx or what not then you might want to calculate the amount of time it would take to do such an action on a single core sub 1Ghz processor.

The only way this would be usefull is if you just had an ungodly amount of HD space that you just wanted to use. Even in my case with an external 750GB drive for just media it is tight!
