Hebrew doesn’t work

I tried to load a movie (.avi) with an hebrew susbtitles
I tried all the options available (hebrew(he)/hebrew(iw) with iso-hebrew/windows-hebrew) but it doesn’t work.
it shows squares instead of words or gibberish or it doesn’t show nothing at all

try to replace the file subfont.ttf with a Hebrew font, and rename it “subfont.ttf”…
I don’t know if this works… but it is a test…
