I’m lost! SMB Problem…

I have tried fixing the SMB thing now for 5 days but without success…

I did everything what this tut said: http://www.wiimc.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1300
And it is working with my parents PC but not with my own.
I want it to work with my own because I can’t download with my parents PC.

I hope someone can help me…

Did you get it fixed?

If not, more info is needed.

Are your shares findable from your parents’ computer?
Are your shares findable on the Wii from other apps (WiiXplorer, for example)
If none of the above, what OS are you running, what OS is your parents’ computer?.. etc

I am having the same issue with my wiiMC and my windows 7 share.

I can find the share from another computer on the same network, but not from the WII. It was working great until I updated to 1.2.2

I am going to install wiixplorer and try it. didnt work either.

I rolled back to 1.2.0 and it works.
