    Hello:

I’m a newbie to WiiMC… just tried running it for the first time. An error comes up right away that says “The current IOS has been altered (fake-signed)…”. I can click OK and WiiMC loads up OK. What IOS is this talking about? I’d like to get the error to go away.

Some of the videos have brief pauses in them (where I used to use Mplayer_CE and they didn’t have the problem). I am wondering if it’s related to the IOS issue?

    Thank you!!

    1)Install official ios58 http://wiibrew.org/wiki/IOS58_Installer
    2)Reinstall HBC
3)If you want wiimc channel install last wiimc channel http://wiimc.googlecode.com/files/WiiMC%20Channel%20Installer%201.5.zip

    Use last wiimc beta: http://www.wiimc.org/files/wiimc_beta2.zip

That did it, thank you! What fixed it was upgrading to Homebrew 1.08 just as you said.

Videos still play a little choppy over SMB, whereas they play fine in MPlayer_CE. I’ve been changing some of the settings and I don’t want to re-encode everything. They are MKV videos. If anybody has any suggestions on how to make the playback smooth, I will try anything. I have everything back to the defaults.

    Thanks.
