m3u playlist: is it now OK with Wiimc 1.1.1

because it still does not work for me, with a playlist as simle as this one:

“Amy Macdonald.m3u”
This is the life/01 – Mr Rock & Roll.mp3
This is the life/02 – This is the life.mp3
This is the life/03 – Poison prince.mp3
This is the life/04 – Youth of today.mp3
This is the life/05 – Run.mp3
This is the life/06 – Let’s start a band.mp3
This is the life/07 – Barrowland ballroom.mp3
This is the life/08 – L.A..mp3
This is the life/09 – A wish for something more.mp3
This is the life/10 – Footballer’s wife.mp3

where the m3u file is located in a “Amy Macdonald folder” containing a subfolder “This is the life”
smb1:/music/Amy Macdonald/
|_Amy Macdonald.m3u
|_This is the life
|_01 – Mr Rock & Roll.mp3
|_…

I got an error when opening the m3u file: error loading playlist…

Put the playlist in the subfolder or add the folder name to the playlist entries.

Then there’s something wrong with your playlist file.

Not sure I understood what you suggested.

What worries me is that these playlist work with other media center and applications connected to the share.
To make thinks even simpler, the following playlist, located in the same subfolder as the mp3 it points to does not work either.
Could you point the error?

Seems to me that it should work. The path to the playlist is simply added to the playlist entry to get the file name, but it would seem you cannot even read the playlist file so there is some other problem.

M3U works fine, could you attach your file so we can see format you used.
