Hey gang!
Now that the olympics have started, I would LOVE to watch it on my TV! WiiMC has been SO amazing for me to watch movies and other stuff, that I was hoping it might enable me to watch the olympics too. NBC has a weird system of locking down viewing for folks here in the US, but I’ve found a link that allows folks to watch the BBC feed thru an online player.
Unfortunately the page doesn’t load on the opera Wii browser, however after looking at the source, it appears that it’s merely linking to a RTMP stream using the following information:
so.addVariable(‘file’,’14.high.stream’);
so.addVariable(‘streamer’,’rtmp://live3.gv.edge.filmon.com:1935/live/’);
I wont even pretend to understand what that means, but after doing some digging, I feel like there’s a way for my Wii to play it. Unfortunately I just dont know how to do that… Anyone got any ideas? I’d be SUPER thankful!
