Every time I try to search for something in youtube from WiiMC it says “Your search did not match any media files”, even when searching something common place like “Mario”.

Noticed this as well, been going on for a few days now…
    -Latest version installed
    -Re-install of Wiimc does nothing
    Help?

Yup, same here. Ran into the issue, the “reinstall new version” option came up, did it, thinking it’d fix the issue, but no, still persisting.

I think it is the WIIMC.ORG server not working because my Enhanced YouTube search works fine so it is not caused by a YouTube site change.. I’ve also found the response time using this forum hosted at wiimc.org to be bad so perhaps its tied together.

The Media Folder setting is blank. (Normally isn’t. That’s the problem! What is the default online media folder address!?)

If the onlinemedia.xml file were missing or if the entry

    <link name="YouTube – Search" type="search" addr="http://www.wiimc.org/media/youtube.php?q=

was missing the search option would not even display, so that’s not the problem.

The YouTube problem was caused by a hardware malfunction at WiiMC’s web host. They have promptly corrected the problem and everything is back to normal! 🙂
