Use external memoryspace ?

Maybe its possible to use external memoryspace (usb-stick) to speed up the wii (like eboostr or readyboost for windows). So it can be possible to play hd movies and the loadings can bee faster.

Unfortunately what Wii needs to play movies in HD is a faster processor and a video output that supports resolutions higher than 480p.

I think the amount of memory available to WiiMC is the smallest of limitations.

well its time to get a new team on wiimc and lets call it wiimc xit will add alot ustream brand new and improve gui and more options and better stream support and drivers to make it run smoothly and beeter music playback and mush more come on people
