VGM file support?

Thank you for making WIIMC – WiiMC is second only to VLC and is the best player ever imo. 😀 Keep up the great work.

I have a suggestion regarding VGM files: I have a bunch of these, and was wondering if the ability to play them may show up in WiiMC. I only know two players, winamp and VLC, that have support for them, and It is the one of the VERY few file types WiiMC doesn’t support yet. I think I’m the first one to mention this as I did not find “VGM” anywhere on the forums.

It would be a useful feature, and I think more information can be found regarding the VGM contaner format here.

If you say VLC player supports this file type,Then I would think vlc-shares would be your answer.This is really not that hard to setup and extends wiimc.

Try renaming the file (eg: to mp3) and see if WiiMC will play it. If it does, I can add the extension to the list.
