Here’s how I did it, with little help from alot of people.

    Computer stuff…
1- Download and install WiiMC and all the necessary ios’s and channel loader if desired to the Wii.
2- Get your ip address from your computer. (start button, cmd, ipconfig, ipv4 address)
3- Make sure that the folder you want to share is in the root of your hard drive! This is a must!
4- Make sure your shared folder is actually shared. Right click and click share and go from there.
5- In network and sharing settings, and under advanced sharing settings, make sure to enable sharing to devices that have less than 128 bit encryption. Thats about it for the computer part.

    Now, on to WiiMC settings.
1- Open WiiMC, go to settings tab, network, and add SMB.
    2- Enter your ipv4 address.
3- Enter the shared name. (the name of the folder in the root of your hard drive you want to share)
4- Enter the display name you would like to see when you turn on the WiiMC and want to select your SMB share.

From here everything should work just fine. Another thing to be sure of is that your Wii is actually connected to your network. You can check this in your Wii settings. Just make sure not to update with Nintendo if your using a software mod. Have fun streaming!!!

Please leave a comments or questions about this short…but, sweet tutorial.

I still can’t get it to work. Can you leave a more detailed tutorial?
