    I’m having the identical problem. Did it manually, and using script. Same error message.

    I run a minimal install of ubuntu 10.10, no gnome or kde. I’m gonna guess there is a package I need that you don’t have in your apt-get list.

    Back to report this is fixed in 1.0.4! I can once again load WiiMC w/o ahving to unplug my WBFS USB drive!

    Chiming in on the reeaaaaallllllly slow audio in 1.0.3 for DVDs (tried The Blind Side tonight)

    Ok, here is the new dump, with 1.0.3 fresh unzip, USB WBFS connected.

    Back to report that 1.0.3 did not fix this, still reboots with a crash dump. If you want specific hex code I can take another picture, but having my WBFS formatted USB drive plugged in makes WiiMC unusuable.

    Just gave it a try, it did load up fine without the USB drive attached.

    I hope you can find the problem, since without my USB hard drive, half of the things I do on my Wii are broken.

    is that the screen you get? (and sometimes nothing at all)
