    How would an external page file in any way, shape, or form, increase the play back ability of the Wii?

    I use a share on an external USB hard drive connected to my XP machine. I get the connection error when the USB drive is not spinning, and sometimes it takes a few moments for WiiMC to wake up my drive. If I browse to the USB drive via windows explorer (causing the disc to spin up) then try to access it via WiiMC it always works. Maybe your drive is just in sleep mode and is having a hard time being woken.

    I have the same problem, with previous versions of WiiMC if you tried connecting to it over and over again it would eventually load, but in 1.10 it needs to be restarted. Sometimes going to the options then back will also let it load, but it seems pretty random. I realize it takes a few seconds for the external HDD to spin up.

    Data DVD stopped working for me when I upgraded to 1.08. To get it to work I installed IOS 58, then upgraded HBC to the latest version and removed DVDx. I still kept getting the Invalid DVD error message so I deleted the old WiiMC forwarder channel then installed the new 1.4v and now all my DVDs play again.
