Please test this wiimc and comment: http://www.mediafire.com/?2ezq1ud231qbnm6

    Hi Rodries,

This version of Wiimc detects my HD immediately. The latest official release takes around 10 seconds before the HD appears.

I reinstalled ios58 and HBC. The test ran this time. The log is attached.

Wiimc has been stuck in an endless update loop saying an update was available every time I ran it – but I’m on 1.1.1 .

Also, didn’t recognise my WD Elements 1TB drive although has been working fine with USB pen drives. Geebox does see the drive straight away although the interface is awful 🙄

I downloaded the test version of WiiMC and that hasn’t made a difference although after reading narciso’s post I unplugged and then plugged back in the hard drive’s PSU and WiiMC found it right away.

Not perfect but at least I know there is a way for WiiMC to see my NTFS partition.

I don’t know what to do to initialize your device. I’m going to do a special usb test only for you, testing a lot of combinations. I’ll ping you when I finish that test.

    Rignog, execute new test

    Interesting log
I need you download another test: http://www.wiimc.org/files/USB%20Test%201.11.zip
I’ll get more info about your device config
The trick is that the usb driver read 5 devices, and only the last device can be initiated, but sometimes only read 4 devices then the driver can’t initiate the device.
In this test I’ve added some sleeps to try to fix the detection problem and I’ve added more info in the descriptors.

    @rodries,
whatever you did to your latest Test-App versions (1.10, 1.11) made them unusable on all my 3 Wii’s. (the screen goes black an the wiimote turns off)
The Test-App (1.09) worked fine, but the log looked still the same as in my previous post

Drive passed all tests it seems. Did not bother waiting more than 5 seconds after plugging in drive before pressing A, seems not to matter for my drive (wear and tear be damned lol).

    Some Information about my drive:

    -Model# WD10000H1U-00

tested 4 different drives with your new app version.

    1.Seagate FreeAgent Go 1TB: passed
2.WD My Passport Essential 500GB: passed
    3.ChilliGreen 400GB: passed
4.SAMSUNG 250GB: failed (problem child from here) Mayby it helps you to know the drive works flawless in hbc?
