never too see new updates ?? or any activity on the site. There is still so much potential in WiiMC, that can be done or “what can be done” was done long time ago. 😉
LinlhutzParticipantyes IT has to be on SD or USB like any other hombrew app on wii. You cant install any hombrew app on Wii system memory.

But any new improvment cant be really done, they already push the wiimc to its max excend. Personally I think the gui is superb !!! As for dvd dont known if any other hombrew app can lunch dvd disc !!! and remamber the Wii itself is not compatybile to play DVDdisc in the first place anyway.
As for YT service of course it would be great to see YT on wiimc again but YT change itself very offten so it’s kind of pointless to rewrite the wiimc code to only watch YT for a week or two before it change something again.
On the other hand VLS treems seems to be lacking improvment as well and that is a shame ;/ but Wii itself is at dying time the new WiiU got a very good internet broswer with YT app so maby it’s time to move to a new system 😉

LinlhutzParticipantNot possible. Wii got soooo less power than PS3 for example whene you can simply do that Wii is weak i CPU GPU —-> everything so is not going to happen.
You can always put mp3 player nex to you turn wii music off and play yours mp3 from mp3 player or radio 😀 😆 😀
and one game I known is “excite truck” for Wii is a racing game that let you play yours mp3 songs from SD card durning gameplay. Hope it helps you.

Two updates only by jhb50! for YT service. Vlc sites seem to stop working too. Wonder why no new versions coming up oh well a least all movies working fine 😉
LinlhutzParticipantnot necessarily You can do softmod on your Wii to be able to use WiiMC and so Navi-X. Look for letter bomb expilot on google. You can do it yourself at home it’s pretty easy.

LinlhutzParticipantLinlhutzParticipantdidnt wont to start a new topic so a put it in here. In new wiiMC 1.2.6 some of youtube videoclips are out of sync in new HIGH QUALITY MODE but is good in normal and low quality. The good news is that the dual screen bug in high quality is gone 😀
