autostartvideo.txt may only contain a playlist name or a directory name. You removed your playlist name, and used the playlist contents instead.

There should be no quotes in autostartvideo.txt
WIIMC+ will read it and verify that usb1:/To Watch/playlist.m3u exists.
Be sure you playlist follows the requirements set out in Guide to Playlist Files.txt

The easy way is to create a convert.bat and add it to your sendto folder. Then right click on any video file and Sendto Convert !

Interesting. That’s the same command as WINFF uses, but it provides more options.

Open Source would mean you are including the source code so others can review and compile it themselves.
You could also post the ffmpeg command that you are using in your exe to do the conversion, and post the formats that you are converting to. eg: divx/mp3.avi

Not to knock your effort, but a cardinal rule is not to run unverified exe’s, especially those that supply no specs or details on your pc.

There is no need to convert mkv or mp4 files to avi unless you wish to downsize HD to SD and in that case a simple VLC or FFMPEG command will do the job, just as VLC shares does.

If WIIMC cannot find a valid settings file, it will generate the default settings file (with no smbs) and replace any existing settings.xml file. This will happen if the settings.xml file contains a version number greater than the current dol version (ie: you try to use an older WIIMC version) or if the xml is invalid which can happen if the file gets partially overwritten. To avoid this, I modded the code to issue a warning message if the version number is incorrect, and to backup the settings each time it is changed which allows me to restore if an overwrite occurs.

No that just takes the 480P output from the wii and converts it to HDMI 1080P. Kind of pointless because your HDTV will upscale the normal wii output via the component cable to fit its screen anyway.

Just fyi, youtube is available because unlike other sites they provide an api which allows access to their video streams without using a browser.

WIIMC is not a browser. A browser that plays flash is required to use those “streaming” sites, and the Opera browser is limited to flash 9 so even it will not work with many sites. Try VLC shares which has or you can develop plugins for sites where the streams can be accessed. Justin is not one of them since their streams are locked up tighter than…

WIIMC is not a browser and so cannot interact with or display html pages. You need to install the Opera browser to do that.

The back button does not fix it, it just resyncs at the back point and audio desync starts at 0 and gradually increases until it becomes noticeable again.
