tantric already said in another post he will have a fix out for that sometime today

my question is ….i now am able to boot up my 1.5tb hdd in the second port (yay!!! 😆 ), but as i put my game hdd in the first port, and boot up wiimc (newest version, without being able to install the newest channel installer) it doesnt show up, but if i remove the game hdd and boot it up (still second port) it shows up……does that also have to do with the channel installer bug, if so no big deal as ive said tantric said he will put out an update for that later today, if not should i report it on the “report a bug” section of this site….thanks for the help in advance

also-not that this has anything to do with your problem, but alot of the newer hdds come with newer technology, where it will shut off your hdd after being idol for so long: example- if i leave my 1.5 tb paused within an avi formated movie for longer than 10 min, my hdd goes to sleep and i get the same error screen your talking about, but if i hit the retry it will go back to where i left off, ……..as a side question- if anybody knows how to turn that off i would love to know , thanks

just updated to 1.0.6 and installed all of the other installers as well ,and still no hdd shows up on the second port for me…..i use a WD 1.5tb hdd, formated to ntfs, not sure if this has anything to do with it…….thanks

1.0.6 reverted the USB changes, so USB only works on the ONE port.

ahh i see thanks for clearing that up

the disc light flashing is the way to tell if you have any “wiimail” ,as i call it, the more times it flashes before repeating is how many messages you have…….this could be anything from your online friends, pics, mesg.,or even an online update from nintendo themselves, all you have to do is either do what Tantric said, or keep wiiconnect24 on, and when you see that flashing disc light, go to your envelope button of your wii menu ,on the bottom right hand corner of your screen, and read your “wiimail”, if it is an update from nintendo, you can delete it by clicking on the trash can inside the message………..hope this helps for future refrences
Of course I considered this right from the start and decided it’s better to encourage people use their sound remote rather than having WiiMC artificially amplify the volume beyond 100%.
this is true….anything u play on 100% usually sounds like crap anyway, my tv remote will do the trick.

mabey the 1+2 buttons or a combo of buttons to add/remove from playlist (B and + = add song, and B and – = remove)
    just a suggestion 😀
